He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Zmuda and Stella Zmuda (Laszezinski); his wife Mary Zmuda; his brother Joseph Zmuda; and his stepson-in-law Dwayne Sandifer.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joseph Hall (Alicia) of Presque Isle, Michigan and Sharon Sandifer of Monroe; his grandchildren, Jonathon Hall, Amy Voyles (Anthony) and Kyla Sandifer; his great grandchildren, Jase and Odin; and his siblings, Pat Niezgoda (Rich) of Canton, Michigan and Richard Zmuda (Joan) of Ecorse, Michigan..
