It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Kusey Sr. of Mio, Michigan, born in Omer, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Kusey and Rose Kusey (Tellish); his wife Marietta Ann Dow; his siblings, Mike, John, Steve, Samuel, Tony, Jr., Julius, Julia Grabney, Celia Krysinski, Sophie Marx, Vickie Hoder, Mary Lazuerwicz and Verna Kusey; and his son-in-law Bill Appel.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Trew (Roger), William Kusey, Jr. (Karen), Laurie Shea (Tom), Nina Galbraith (Hugh) and Karen Ciske (Paul); his grandchildren, Candace Camling (Ken), Karen Nease (Josh), Sarah Lau (Wing), Elizabeth Kachiros (Anthony), Will Ciske (Makayla), Kerrie Lomasney (Boz) and Charlee Sheraden (Scott); his great grandchildren, Henry, Abilene, Diana, Tanner, Luke, Olivia, Lucy, Ben, Gus, Raelynn and Hugh; his sister Marge Jansen; and his sister-in-law Shirley Drouse. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many, many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Mio United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
