He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Schanck and Clifford Schanck; his brothers, Russell, Ted and Bob; his granddaughter Britnie; his brother-in-law Dean; and his daughter-in-law Melissa (Teresa).

He is survived by: his wife Neomi; his siblings, Beverly and Jim (Jane); his children, Darrel (Jen), Paula (Jerry), Tara (Hunter), George (Deana) and Dud (Val); his grandchild Kim; and his pet Moni. He is also survived by her "Pops"; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mio Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to your local humane society.
