He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Schubel and Ella Schubel (Popp); and his siblings, Joan Potts (Jack) and Jim (Linda Hamill). He is survived by: his former wife Judy Lautner; his wife Betty; his children, Cheryl of East Lansing, Michigan and Darrel (Julie) of Roseville, Michigan; his stepchildren, Donna Pereira (Paul) of Birmingham, Michigan and Joe Paruch (Mary Joe) of Berkley; and his sister Jean McClung (Jim) of Chicago, Illinois..
Because of COVID concerns, a memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.
