He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Dunkel and Marie Dunkel; and his wife Deborah. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Dunkel and Daniel Dunkel; his grandchildren, Levi and Michelle; and his siblings, Nelson Dunkel, Dave Dunkel (Jackie), Debbie Claveau (Joe) and Judy Phelon.
