He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Godmer and Loretta Godmer; and his siblings, Marylee Godmer and William "Bill" Godmer. He is survived by: his wife Karen Godmer; his daughters, Brenda Green (John), Sheri Goodman (James) and Mary Schwerin (Louie); his grandchildren, Justin Green (Felicia), Tyler Green (Bella), Jessica Hempsall (Chris), Jennifer Gable (Lane) and Kevin Goodman (Angie); his great grandchildren, Austin Ferrell (Alicia), Rebecca Goodman (Jake), Katelyn Langley (Brian), Halen Green, Ryder Green, Lleyton Green, Hudson Green and Brayden Colby; his great great grandchildren, Maze Ferrell and Atlas Langley; and his siblings, Raymond Godmer and Berthann Ainsworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (212 Center St, Otisville, MI 48463). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Millington Township Cemetery (4921 Main St, Millington, MI 48746).
