She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell "Punk" and Lanora Brown (Smith) of Millington; her parents-in-law, Leon and Betty Coward; her brothers, Raymond and Jerry Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Mays and Sally Williams.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Coward; her children, Dan Coward (Heather), Dennis Coward, Darin Coward and Dana Baker (Tim); her grandsons, Timothy and Tanner Baker; her sister Shirley Mays; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Brown (Brooks Vineyard), Maxine Buhl and Lillie Ann Williams (Ken); and her close friend Chantel Derks. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
