It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby A. McClenathen of Millington, Michigan, born in Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ruby leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Steele and Esther Steele (Meyers); her daughters, Karen Sergent and Rosey Robinson; and her grandson Matthew Glynn.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Rapson (George), Virginia Buchner (Charles), Denise Glynn (John), John McClenathen (Deneice), Charles Foster, Boyden McClenathen (Carrie), Virgil McClenathen (Chris) and Penny McClenathen. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
