He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Ames and Nellie Ames (Hale); his wife Donna Edwards; and his brothers, Cliff, Eddie Ames, Glen, Lowell, Elewyn and Clyde Pletcher.
He is survived by: his sister Rosemary; his sons, Todd Ames and Timm Ames (Nancy); his grandchildren, Lucas, Ryan, Sylvia, Brittney, Jenni, Jarrod and Catherine; his great grandchildren, Brienna and Nicholas; and his caregivers, Barb, Kristin, Dana and Nicole.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Millington High School Industrial Arts program.
