It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois May Monroe of Millington, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster Fisher and Hazel Fisher (Fisher); her husband Jack Monroe; and her siblings, Helen Hourtenne, Hank Fisher, Jim Fisher and Carol Themm.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Monroe (LaVerne), Ron Monroe, Earl Monroe (Carol), Gale Monroe and Cindy Halcomb (Tom). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
