We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2021, at the age of 97, John E. Long of Millington, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon; his wife Vera (Harvey); his son-in-law David McFarlane; and his sister Dorothy Beagle. He is survived by: his children, Debbie, Bradley Long (Beth), Deborah McFarlane and Angela Hanlin (Mark); and his siblings, Doris Sobe, Evelyn Winters and Les Long (Marlene). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Family is requesting donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Compassion Care Hospice - 9463 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc, MI 48439.

“So MANY memories with John and his BIG horse's. Will never forget him letting me plow behind his team of Percheron's at Plow Day's. He was an expert at training the draft's to drive. I had him train "Big Ben" my 17'3 Belgian Draft. ❤️”
