He is survived by: his wife Greta; his children, James, Mark (Carrie), David (Lisa), Daniel (Heidi), Matthew (Kelley) and Kaylinjoy (Kevin); his in-laws, Bruce Hemingway (Kay), Joyce Bickel (Vic), Linda Rock (Daryl), Ed Jewell and Marvin Jewell; his close friends, Robert Fall and Theodore "Ted" Stilson; and his brother Bob Opperman.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel Fellowship (7501 Frankenmuth Rd, Vassar, MI 48768). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
