She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Petzold and Alma Petzold (Bauer); her son Ernest Smith; and her brothers, Alton Petzold, Wallace Petzold (Shirley), Rolland Petzold (Florence) and Roy Petzold (Shirley).
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Hayes (late Carl), Mildred Smith, James Smith and Natalie Smith; her grandchildren, Jeff Smith, Michelle Wolvin (Brandon), Justin Gullett, Andrea Lorigan and Jonathan Hayes; her great grandchildren, Alexander Meredith, Sean Lorigan, Margaret Lorigan and Ryan Hayes; her siblings, Willard Petzold (Carolyn) and Elaine Bickel (James); and her friend Dolores.
Memorials may be given to Valley Lutheran High School or St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund.
