He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hergenreder and Helen Hergenreder (Witkovsky); his wife Marie M. Baker (McTaggart); his brothers, Floyd and Melvin Hergenreder; and his grandchildren, Stefanie Baker and Adam Hergenreder.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Baker (Yvonne), SueAnn Zornes (David), Gene Hergenreder, Kathy Schwab (Steve) and Deann Oliver (Gary); his brothers, James Hergenreder (Lorraine) and Richard Hergenreder (Martha); and his close friend Carolyn Walker. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
