It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Orrin Torrey of Millington, Michigan, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pauline Evelyn and Orrin Gilbert Torrey; his wife Mildred Hunt; his children, Francis Torrey Jr., Diana (William Utica) and Barbara (Douglas Abbott); his grandchildren, Rhoads, Joplin Brady and Jared Torrey; his great grandchildren, Iris, Harrison Torrey and Mylani White; his sister Betty; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Davis of Davison, Ivan Hunt of Millington, Ruth Smith of Texas, Alice Hunt of Frankenmuth and Evelyn Hunt of Texas; and his aunt Minnie Batoha of Pontiac.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home (116 Grove St, Otisville, MI 48463). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
