It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel Howell of Millington, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lanford and Mary Lanford (LaRose); her in-laws, Charles and Eva Howell; and her siblings, James "Ed" Lanford (Irene), Charles Lanford, Henry Lanford and Elaine Coates.
She is survived by: her husband Chuck Howell; her children, Charles Howell (Pam), Marie Konieczka (Rick) and Lynn Churchill (Bill); her grandchildren, Mary LaLonde (Tom), Kyle Konieczka, Mandy Stewart (Adam), Courtney McDonald (Bryan), Brianna, Chase and Parker Churchill; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Blake, Cole, Skylar, Gracie and Wyatt; and her brother-in-law Edward Howell (Nancy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (212 Center St, Otisville, MI 48463). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Food Pantry in Ethel's name.
