He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Lee Vollmar; and his son-in-law Alan Bell. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Crosby; and his children, Diane Wood (Robert), Daniel W. Nowland Jr., Bethany Martin (Malcolm), Dennis Vollmar (Gaile), Allen, Donna Vollmar, Alexa Bell and Alvin Vollmar. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
