He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gary King (Shirley) and Marilyn McDill; his great-grandparents, Arthur King (Beatrice) and Bert Branard (Leona); and his cousin Jared Hislope.

He is survived by: his parents, Randy King (Deborah) and Brenda King (Beckman); his brothers, Travis King (Jessica Austin) and Jim Veness (Heather Latimer); his nieces and nephews, Peyton, Keiser King, Jennifer Brush, Zachary Ford and Charlotte Veness; his aunts and uncles, Daniel Hislope, Darrel Hislope (Dana), Paul Gridley (Jenny), Janice Ward (Tom), Kathy Coblentz (Larry), Carrie Egert (Rodger) and Johnnie Lynn McDill; and his cousins, Jason Ward (Tammy) and Sherri Tower (Aaron).
