She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafayette Short and Lucy Short (Turland); her husband Robert Loomis Sr.; her son-in-law Robert Richard; and her granddaughter April Birman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Loomis II (Colleen), Rodney Loomis (Valora) and Tammy Richard; and her sisters, Lucille Stephen and Linda Allen (Ron). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Millington Community Center or Vassar Comfort Care as a tribute to Arlene's memory.
