With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Marie Olmsted (Millersburg, Michigan), who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Freier and Marie Freier (Hawkins); her husband Morton Olmsted; her brother Wesley; and her son-in-law Douglas Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Marianne Dougherty (Jim) of Onaway, Susan Oliverson (Gary) of Ocqueoc, Lisa Freel (Ronald) of Hawks and Daniel Olmsted (Lori) of Ocqueoc; her grandchildren, Katherine Peters (Eric), Jennifer Sayers (Doug), Travis Charboneau, Chelsea Charboneau (Korey Moore), Monica Duty (Josh), Anna Claus (Jon), Andrew Freel, Abby Freel, Sterling Olmsted (Savanna) and Kate Olmsted (Geoff Libby); and her brothers, Paul Freier of Ocqueoc and Melvin Freier of Onaway. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
