He was predeceased by: his wife Betsy Jo Bretz; and his father Jim Bretz. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Bretz; his children, Katy Cook (John) and Max Bretz (Meagan); and his grandson Elijah Cook.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Milford (404 E Liberty St, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381).
Memorial donations are encouraged in Robert's name to WDET Detroit Public Radio, United Cerebral Palsy, or to the Michigan Humane Society.
