He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Whelan and Christine Whelan. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Whelan; his children, Jodi Zoner (Brian), Amber and Adam; his grandchildren, Alora, Connor, Kaya Zoner and Apollo Whelan; and his son Milford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Milford (404 E Liberty St, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the OakPointe Church (1250 S Hill Rd, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Milford Memorial Cemetery.
