John Norris Grissim Obituary
The memory of John Norris Grissim of Milford, Michigan, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Grissim and Sadie Grissim (White); his sister Virginia Morell; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Wintrode and Jack Chaffee.
He is survived by: his friend Heiner Hertling; his wife Anne Spencer Grissim; his children, Susan Grissim (Jennie Klepinger), John Grissim (Linda) and Carolyn Williams (Daniel Tatu); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Williams, Lauren Bown (Noah), Benjamin Grissim, Katherine Grissim and Jennifer Grissim; his great grandchildren, Olivia Goldsmith, Ryann Goldsmith, Daxton Bown and Caroline Bown; and his sister Donna Schwartz (David). He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Milford Presbyterian Church (283 N Main St, Milford, MI 48381). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (1055 Garden Rd, Milford, MI 48381).
