Carol Lee Tunney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Lee Tunney of Milford, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Lee Tunney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Tunney (Larry); her parents, William Knapp and Catherine Knapp (Ehlen); her sisters, Dorothy Bird (Robert), Mary Lou Borovica (Alvin) and Wilma Valentine (Caleb); and her son-in-law Robert Trevarthen.
She is survived by: her brother William "Bob" Knapp; her children, Michael Tunney (Lori), Patricia Boyt (Shawn), James Tunney (Tracy), Veronica Trevarthen, Stephen Tunney (Mai) and David Tunney (Michelle); her grandchildren, Amanda, Liam, Christopher, Emily, Zachary, Nayt, Taylor, Jake, Elijah, Irie of Charles, Frederick, David, Michael, Delaney and Courtney; and her great grandchildren, Daphne, Xavier, John, Boden, Isabella, Daisy, Tiger, Charlie and Maverick. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Modetz Funeral Home Silverbell Chapel (100 E Silverbell Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48360). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (715 N Lapeer Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48360).
