She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pentz and Margaret Pentz; and her husband Jim Gibson. She is survived by: her friend Judy; her sons, James Gibson Jr. (Jim) and Joe Gibson (Catherine); her grandchildren, Ben, James, Sophie, Rebecca, Ian and Sam; and her sister Ann O'Rourke (late William).
Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to make a donation in her memory to the Trinity Health Organization that provided financial assistance to Alexis for her chemo treatments, St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Oncology Services Fund.
