He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ornalik and Veronica Ornalik (Ziomber); his wife Mary Jane; his son-in-law Bill; his grandson Zack; and his siblings, Helen, Jane, Florence and Joe.

He is survived by: his children, Debby Kress (Mike Harries), David Ornalik (Karen) and Jim Ornalik; his grandchildren, Allison Kress (Chris Murphy), Caitlin Foland, Matt Ornalik, Becky Belanger (Sinjin) and Gabby Ornalik; his great grandchildren, Lydia, William, Peter, Eli, Pearl, Molly, Cleo and Elsie; and his brother-in-law Ed Potas (Ellie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
