She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dave Thompson; her stepdaughter Brittany Thompson; her parents, Melva and Charlie; her siblings, Tracy and Jim; her sister-in-law Beth; her niece Sarah; and her great-nephews, Cash and Carson.
She enjoyed movies, even if only as a place to take a nap, 60 Minutes, Scrabble, and People Magazine. And she loved music, especially Detroit's own Motown, and concerts—most recently planning to take the whole family to see the Wu-Tang Clan with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra before the show was postponed due to the pandemic.
