It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ralph Zakerski of Milan, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Zakerski and Carolyn Zakerski (Staszel); and his brother-in-law Michael Cox. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Zakerski; his sons, Matthew Zakerski (Megan) and David Zakerski; his granddaughter Lily Zakerski; his siblings, Sharon Zacny (Frank), Karyn Cox, Daniel Zakerski (Jill), Lynn Dankovich (David) and Thomas Zakerski (Denise); and his aunt Evelyn DeVinney.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Arbor Day Foundation (https://shop.arborday.org) or the American Cancer Soceity.
