Howard Smallwood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Smallwood (Milan, Michigan), born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Smallwood and Ethel Smallwood (Light); his son Jeffrey; his grandson Mason Farmer; and his siblings, Paul, Dalton, Kenneth, Charles Smallwood, Shelby Bailey, Helen Greenway, Wilbur, Wilma and Eugene.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Mae Pennington; his children, Howard Jr. Smallwood (Carol) of Willis, Daniel Smallwood (Louise) of Belleville and Bonnie Farmer (Jeffrey) of Milan; his grandchildren, Sara, Amanda, Laura, Holly, Chelsea, Christopher, Kevin, Whitney, Austin and Anthony; and his sisters, Geraldine Reynolds, Barbara Boaknoski, Betty Poff and Shirley Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Government issued restrictions of facemask and social distancing are required. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 24th. at the Milan Free Methodist Church 950 Arkona Rd. Milan (Government Restrictions of facemask and social distancing must be followed) with procession to London Township Cemetery for burial.
