He is survived by: his spouse Ruth E. McTaggart; his children, Lori K. Summerlin and Timothy R. Summerlin (Shawn) of Dundee; his grandchildren, Ashley D. Scott (Eric), Matthew A. Fennell (Caitlyn), David F. Hoover and Katie Hoover; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Miley, Mason, Presley and Easton; his siblings, Garry Wayne Summerlin (Marilene) of Belleville, Donna Fay Palmer (Ricky) of Bessemer and Deb Harmon (Barry) of Alabaster; and his wife York Baptist Church. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
