He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ward and Blanche Ward (Morrison); his wife Gertie; his daughter Lucinda Ward; and his brothers, James, Floyd, Arnold, Kenneth and Irven Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin D. Ward, Brenda Hammon (David) and Patricia Beins (Craig). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and his dear lifelong friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Solid Rock Church of God, or to Hospice Compassus.
