He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Plamondon Sr.; and his brothers, Gerald Plamondon Jr., Rick Plamondon and Bruce Plamondon. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Ryan Kubica, John Plamondon, Jacob Plamondon, Jessi Wilkinson and JoAnna Plamondon; his mother Vania Plamondon (Denkins); and his sisters, Shelia Cramer and Bethany Thierbach. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Alcona Humane Society.
