He is survived by: his mother Bonnie McDonald (Madden); his sons, Jason McDonald (Sharada) of Indianapolis and Patrick McDonald (Amy) of Indianapolis; his grandson Finnegan McDonald; his brothers, Jeffrey McDonald and Randy McDonald (Pat); and his pet Zappa.
