He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Zimmerman and Addie Zimmerman (Dilyard); his sister Karen Hastings; his daughter Brenda Duford; his parents-in-law, Erv and Janie Knochel; and his brother-in-law Mike Knochel.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Knochel); his daughters, Julie Schiedt (Nick) and Tami Schlosser (Jerry); the mother of his children Judy Wise; his granddaughters, Amanda Duford, Samantha Altman and Olivia Delsoover (Casey); his great grandchildren, Dalen, Nolan, Dalton and Reagan; his siblings, Larry Zimmerman (Theda) and Linda Smucker (Larry); his brothers-in-law, Louis Hastings, Kim, Keith (Janette) and Joe Knochel (Debbie); and also, Jonathan, Jennifer Van Den Boom, Sally Corbat and Jan Knochel. He is also survived by his parents, daughter, many other family and friends.
Cremation has taken place, in lieu of flowers, please consider his charities, The Pinconning Area Emergency Food Pantry or the Northwestern High School All-Sports fund.
