He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Baryla and Anna Baryla (Iwaneczko); and his siblings, Ann Pawlik Robinson, Michael Pawlik, Joseph Pawlik, Edward Baryla, Frank Baryla and Helen Brillhart.
He is survived by: his close friend Frances Renneberg (Fryzel); his children, Cheryl Karlinsey (Steve), Stanley Baryla and Lori Sterle (Scott); his grandchildren, Isabel Waid, Seth Karlinsey and Taylor Stoepker; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Bristol Stoepker; and his extended family, Irene Talaga (Paul), Margaret Valley (Ray), Judy Wejrowski (Steve) and Robert Fryzel (Malinda George).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auburn Chapel-Cunningham-Taylor F. H. (312 W Midland Rd, Auburn, MI 48611).
In lieu of flowers, those planning on an expression of sympathy, envelopes will be available for the Sanford American Legion Post 443 where Stas' was a proud and active member.
