Shirley Brownell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Brownell of Midland, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on October 24, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Decker and Louie Isabel Decker (Sinkler); her husband John; and her siblings, Carl Decker, Earl Decker, Maxine LaBeau and Catherine Graham.

She is survived by: her former spouse Dale Hauglie; her sister JoAnne of John's; her children, Teena Brownell (John Ritchings) of Lake, Thayer Bradish (Gale) of Midland, John Brownell (Teri) of Bay City, James Brownell (Sammie Jo) of Tawas and JoAnne Brewer (William) of Flushing; and her brother Russell Decker (Susan) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
