He is survived by: his wife Laura Van Acker; and his children, Steve VanDeVelde (Beth), Rick VanDeVelde (Sharon), Tom VanDeVelde (Colleen), Rhonda Bruns (Mike) and Jim VanDeVelde (Barb). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
