He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood H. Smith and Helen M. Smith (Tardiff); and his siblings, Gerald Smith and Shirley Grauf. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Smith of Midland; and his daughters, Jeanene Jones (Larry) of Beaverton, Sandra Dorion (Tim) of Hale, Patricia Bassett of Bay City and Ann Marie Thornton (Mark) of Midland. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
