He was predeceased by: his father Michael Owens; and his brother Doug Owens. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Owens (Plude); his son Curtis Owens; his stepdaughter Christy Hall; his stepgrandchildren, Nicodemus, Lena, Gwenn Hall (Janet Love) and Alex Smith; and his siblings, Tim (Nicki), Bernard, Steve (Kim), Jerry (Dawn), George (Kelli), Brian (Leah), Larry (Heather), Michael (Theresa), Deb Grasley (Glenn), Janet Rogers (Jim) and Cathy VanHorn (Rod).
