He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. and Emily; his son Brian Allen; and his brother Robert Allen. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Swailes; his children, Perry Allen (Danette), Craig Allen (Sylvia), Becky Fulton (Lyle) and Penny Dowker; his stepchildren, Clifton Collins (Carol), Steven Collins (Patti) and Connie Shelton; his brother Wayne Allen; and his former wife Bonnie Allen.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time due to Covid-19 restriction.
