He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emily Granados (Coggins); his children, Camila, Mariana and Giovanni; his grandparents, Camilo and Rosa Granados; his parents, Arturo Granados and Maricela Granados; his siblings, Edgar Granados (Margarita), Erik Granados, Leslye Romero, Saul and Cici Granados; his parents-in-law, Tony and Kristelle Coggins; his siblings-in-law, Anthony Coggins (Chantel), Chad Coggins (Katie) and Jyllian Coggins (Hunter); his grandparents, Elpidia Hernandez and Jose Elias; his aunt Sylvia Elias; and his uncles, Arturo Elias, Oscar Elias and Vicente Granados.

In lieu of flowers, Omar asked that there be a fund started for his children.
