He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Knapp and Marian Knapp (Lewis); and his brothers, Robert and Michael Knapp. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Knapp of California; his children, Jerod Smith (Jeffrey Knapp) of Arizona and Lonna Rojas (Knapp) of California; his grandchildren, Marisa and Ethan Rojas of California; and his brothers, Charles and Onalee Knapp (Midland). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
