He was predeceased by: his father Roland Herman; his wife Eva Hoon; his stepdaughters, Lou Ann LaBerge and Yvonne Schaefer; and his siblings, Andy Herman, Vern Herman, Shirley Currey, Betty Riggie, Dudley Herman, Donna Kenyon, Ken Herman and Raymond Herman.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Wanda Bird; his stepson-in-law Randy LaBerge; his stepgrandchildren, Joye, Jeff, Jamie and Kent; and his close friend Marge.

Memorial contributions may be offered to the Midland Missionary Church.
