He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl D. Wise and Marie E. Wise (Hahn); and his brother Willis "Budd" Wise. He is survived by: his wife Ella M. Tiede; his children, Muryle Wise, Jr. (Teri) of Houston, Texas and Cathy Ridge of Richmond, Texas; his grandchildren, Megan Wise, Rachel Wise, Ray Ridge III, Clay Ridge and Wade Ridge; and his great grandchild Jacqueline Ridge.

Memorials may be directed to Our Savior Lutheran Church.
