She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Hackett and Lydia Hackett (Strevel); her husband Peter Hopkins; and her siblings, Loren "Bob" Hackett, Charles Hackett, Don Hackett, Agnes Thompson, Ruth Stoneburner and Betty Hackett.
She is survived by: her children, Alva Hopkins (Paula), David Hopkins (Cindi) and Patti Furman (Mike); and her sister Barbara Diener. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be offered to the Humane Society of Midland County.
