She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hancock and Ida Hancock (Herren); her son Robert Thurston; her grandson Matthew Thurston; and her siblings, Cleo Hancock, Leo Hancock of William Hancock, C. O, J. C. Hancock, Vernell Gutchak, Nelda Miller and Dorothy Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Thurston (Donna) of Midland, Beverly Welsh (Peter) of Birch Bay, WA. and Tammy Kilbreath (Mark) of Midland; her daughter-in-law Kathy Thurston of Midland; her grandchildren, Michael, Sheri, Tesa, Dan, Kris, Kevin, Kristen, Brent and Michelle; her sister Janet Smith; her sister-in-law Clara Hancock; and her great grandchild Brunden. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
