It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marc Alan Thurston of Midland, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marc Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Thurston and Lois Thurston (Wendt). He is survived by: his wife Judy Thornton-Thurston; his son Zach Thurston (Emma); his granddaughter Eleanor Thurston; and his siblings, Greg Thurston and Teri Strasser (Thurston). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Midland Nazarene Church (5700 Jefferson Ave, Midland, MI 48640). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
