He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Melvin and Betty Kern; and his brother-in-law John Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Kern; his children, Jennifer Summers of Katy and Scott Nussbaum (Elizabeth) of Warrenton, Virginia; his grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Abigail Summers, Brendan, Kyle, Katelyn Nussbaum, Hannah and Rachel Hunter; his siblings, Nannette Wilson, Margaret Nussbaum and Francis "Frank" Nussbaum, Jr. (Gloria); and his sister-in-law Nancy Gibbs (G. Randall). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
