He was predeceased by: his parents, Erick Johnson and Agnes Johnson (Paulson); his wife Gail McLaren (Johnson); and his sisters, Gertrude Senecal (Johnson) and Lu Maki (Johnson).
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Payne (Mike) and Eric Johnson (John Bennett); his grandsons, Ryan Payne (Joanna) and Shawn Payne (Jessica Gault); his niece Sara LaJeunesse; his nephew Richard Maki; his brother-in-law John McLaren (Louetta); his nephew Jason McLaren (Shannon); and his nieces, Danielle Jolly (John) and Sara Paul (John).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home (4210 N Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
