She was predeceased by: her parents, George Weir and Hattie Weir (Van Alstine); and her siblings, Erwin Weir, George Weir, Jr., Jack Weir, Eleanor Allaire and Lorraine Schramm.
She is survived by: her former husband Edward Eagle; her husband James Eagle; and her children, Gregory Eagle (Rhonda), Jeffrey Eagle (Vickey), Sherie Eagle and Bonnie Eagle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to Aldersgate Church in Midland.
